Sermon: The responsibility of the voice as a child of God.

Amos 8: 11 - 13

People in non-Christian countries are succeeding without the Bible because they are using the principles.

2 Peter 1:8

some truths are relevant for reference but not relevant for application.

There is a truth that is present.

Our ears need to be purified unto knowing the present truth.

1 Timothy 4:1
John 20: 12 - 16

the resurrected Christ who is the glory of God can be discerned by His voice and appearance.
The devil can try to appear like God but he can never copy the voice of God.
The voice of God is distinct.

The defining mark of any believer is one who can hear the voice of God.

John 10:16.
When you hear the voice of God, you live.

John 5:25
Genesis 3:5

Don’t worship the man of God, honor the oil (anointing).
How you handle the word of God and it’s ministration is how the word of God will respond to you.

Luke 8:18 you need to get to a point when even when God just calls your name, you are sure it is Him.
His sheep hear his voice.

Revelation 2:17 - 18

When you hear God, you cannot remain the same.
Psalms 27:4
Psalms 63:2

The defining mark of the presence of God is you hear the VOICE of God.
The voice of God defines your ministry. For example, the voice of God defined Moses, Paul and Jesus’ ministry.

You need to encounter the distinctive voice of God.

When you behold Truth (the word of God), you hear his voice. There is a voice behind the word of God.

Deuteronomy 4
Hosea 7:8

When you hear the voice of God, you live, a certain glory follows your life.
There are certain things you are struggling with only because you have not heard the voice.

Seek to be in his presence, give yourself wholly to the word, and in there you will encounter his VOICE.
